If you're confused by what Hip Hop with R&B Flava means, since "R&B" can mean oh so many different things, think of it as crossover hip-hop or pop-rap, because nearly every song on this 12-track (nine on cassette) budget-priced collection made its presence known on the pop charts. The rest of the compilation may not quite live up to those high standards, but it's all very, very good, making it a budget-priced disc that is certainly a bargain. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, Rovi
