The information contained herein is intended primarily for those interested in the construction and maintenance of streets in cities, towns and villages in Wiscon sin, although a great part of the report is equally applicable, in the principles of street construction and maintenance, to rural districts. An attempt has been made to discuss impartially the different pavements, hoping to furnish unbiased and reliable in formation as to their merits.
