High Flyer (Verdant String Series #4) by Michelle Diener
The first book I've read by the author. This is part of the Verdant String Series, but can be read as a stand alone. If I could give it more stars I would. Diener did an amazing job.
Hana, a pilot, doesn't want to give in to her boss, but then they're taken down. Hana, being the flyer she is, manages to avoid being hit. The quote I chose for Hana is: "Let's see how overgrown it is on the outside and whether we can get a runner out at all."
Iver, head-of-planet and Hana's boss, finally gets the girl, but it doesn't come easy. Iver finds that he's being hunted down because people are worried about something he plans on building. The quote I chose for Iver is: "I can't get taken. I won't be used as a tool for them to get off planet with that shielding device."
