The blurb on the back cover declares: "a bullet-fast novel of the lawless West." And from the openning line to the concluding paragraph of this story it is indeed just that--fast paced. The action never ceases. Jim Sherill is surrounded by a gang of killers hired by the man who wants what belongs to Jim. It's an old plot line to be sure, but there are enough new twists and surprises to keep you turning the pages to the end. A mighty good book the likes of which they don't write or publish today, sorry to say.
