Simon Matthews (Ian Michaels) is an ex-NFL kicker currently working a dead end job. Fed up with life in the West Coast, Simon and his girlfriend Brittany (Sarah Smick) decide to move back to Brittany's hometown of Victory, Texas, and open a combination salon/sports bar. It seems like a great business plan, but first Simon will have to ask Brittney's father for her hand in marriage. The trip gets off to an awkward start when Brian's obnoxious best friend Teddy (Matt Linhart) invited himself along for the ride, and later things start to get complicated when Brian receives a lucrative offer as a college football scout back in So Cal.
