HER GOOD SIDE was a cute and heartwarming YA romance. I really liked the strong healthy relationships portrayed and the positive messages regarding important topics such as body image, consent, and peer pressure. The characters were diverse and felt authentic especially in terms of the high school setting, though there could have been a bit more character development. It was easy to see where things were headed from early on in the book but it was still quite enjoyable.
Overall, HER GOOD SIDE was a great read that I'd recommend to fans of YA romance. This is the first book I've read by Rebekah Weatherspoon. I'd be interested in checking out her other works.
