Starts off immediately after the ending of Heat. Talks about the investigation and tracking of Chris and how he escapes the clutches of the LAPD and Vincent. Book shifts to Chicago years earlier and about a score they make and also about Vincent when he was with the CPD and a case that goes bad. Talks about how Chris survived in South America and some other issues that happened. Well worth it, writing style moves very quickly and doesn't get bogged down as some writers can do.
