The Survey also aimed to estimate the proportion of adults in England in whom specified cardiovascular related conditions have been identified; to estimate the prevalence of certain risk factors associated with these conditions; to see how different subgroups in the population vary in their likelihood of having specified conditions or risk factors; and to assess the frequency with which particular combinations of risk factors are found and in which groups they predominate.
