Previous owner's inscription, neatly rendered, at first free endpaper, seemingly from an American to a German. Bright and shiny dust jacket, illustrated, showing moderate wear along edges, some light soiling to rear panel, not price-clipped. FIlled with some lovely black-and-white illustrations and plates, and with seven full-color plates, plus a 17-page People, Places and Things section. Very Good+ in Good+ dust jacket. Large format hardcover with dustjacket, book is very clean and attractive, there are two edge-bumps on the top of the black cloth cover and the blank end-papers are mildly tanned, there are no other remarkable book flaws, the jacket is price-clipped, has moderate edge-wear and is slightly tanned on the spine, also, some of the text on the front flap is unfortunately not visible due to surface-wear, the jacket is clean and despite the flaws, remains pleasing to the eye and a professional (removable) mylar cover is included, "Here explained, bared, and in parts, flayed-are Germany and the German people"
