I have read the Harrison's as a medical student 25 years ago with much difficulty ,with the passage of time & experience I learned to appreciate the details .With Harrison's you do not need to buy many other books in Internal medicine to keep being updated. Many will say there is no need to buy books like Harrison's in the advent of the internet but the experience with a book in your hand ,the topic is seen in light of other topics hence able to see the forest while examining the tree.
