New Classical Adventure's Harmonies/Orgel Modern is a latter-day revisiting of work Haselböck was deeply into during his formative years as an organist, contemporary music previously rather incompletely documented on recordings under Haselböck's hands. Of the seven works on the program -- five of which Haselböck himself is responsible for fostering -- only his rendering of the Ernst Krenek Four-Winds Suite was recorded in the analog era as part of a complete survey of Krenek's organ music.
