THIS IS AN EXCELLENT EXAMPLE OF A WELL RESEARCHED HISTORICAL NOVEL. IT IS A REAL PAGE TURNER EVEN IF YOU KNOW THE HISTORY OF ISABELLA AND EDWARD II. THE 1300'S COME ALIVE FOR THE READER. IT IS NEVER BORING. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
