Some entries are written cohesively well, but most disintegrate into tedious, repetitive one-liners, difficult to read aloud as a couple (we tried). Perhaps it's the editor's fault that the book reads more like a first draft. "Encourage each other to do something every day that will boost happiness" "Live it up!" "Live today as if it were your last on Earth" x 100. Should have been a calendar and not a bound book. Though it's written by a couple, the reader only hears from one spouse writing about him or herself - the reader is never really given a glimpse of what Alexandra and Peter are like together, so it's very hard to see them operating AS a couple, though that's supposed to be the point... I've read elsewhere that her other books are better.
