somewhat disappointing as i would have liked to see more analysis and criticism
of the fabulous multitude of his compositions. I can't believe that the enormous amount of music he wrote for opera, oratorios, etc. were all of high calibre. Some recognition is given to plagiarism but that should have been flshed out more compltetly.
