Whether or not you know anything about the recorder (the flute of its day) or the period, this is terrific music. Petri and Jarrett are a great combination. His light touch and sense of space and light leave lots of room for her excellent playing. Start here with Recorder and Keyboard music and then go look for collections that are as good. I haven't found any lately.
