All page edges are red. Black and white photographs and illustrations. High-quality glossy paper. Index ribbon present but detached. Both hinges cracked inside of endpapers, some webbing showing, not broken. Half-inch tear in cloth at head of spine. Corners and spine ends bumped and rubbed, with some fraying at tips and spine ends. Covers have light surface and edge wear otherwise. One page has a correction in ink.
