On the other hand thematic aspects are addressed in terms of a "biblical theology", drawing on passages from different biblical books or even the Old and New Testaments (for example love/sexuality). The section on 'figures' deals with characters and historical figures ranging from Adam and Eve to Paul. The general focus on Bible didactics also allows for an overview over various 'concepts' of religious education. The section on 'methods' describes approaches and educational paths ranging from telling a story to the parish project "Kinderbibelwoche". Moreover the authors focus on the 'recipients', those who learn and read the Bible, ranging from kindergarden children to senior citizens, and discuss 'difficulties in approach and understanding'.
