In the course of their nine albums for A&M Records between 1969 and 1975, the Strawbs grew from being an acoustic string band into a sophisticated prog rock outfit, a journey that is presented here in this two-disc set which is essentially the same as the previous year's Halcyon Days: The A&M Years with a slightly rearranged running order. Included are essential tracks like "Martin Luther King's Dream," "Ghosts," "The River," and "Down by the Sea." ~ Steve Leggett, Rovi
