The Loche's supreme religious leader, ensconced in an ancient mountain fortress known as God's Keep, descends from the mountain to minister to his people. Accompanied by four bodyguards, he preaches his message of hope while an insurgency, the Radical Religious, works to reverse engineer the Compact's deadliest technology, learn to manufacture local equivalents, and arm and train an army to take back their home.
