In Germany, buildings like the Frauenkirche in Dresden or the churches of Dientzenhofer and Neumann would be unimaginable without these models.Since most people find it hard to imagine buildings based on sections, ground plans and elevations, images created from the plans make the evaluation of the buildings much easier. Only perspective prawings can convey a vivid spatial impression. Von Guarini angeregte Bauten finden sich in Krichen von Cadiz bis Wilnius, von London bis Prag und von Wahlstatt bis Nizza. In Deutschland waren Bauten wie die Dresner Frauenkirch oder Kirchen von Dientzenhofer und Neumann ohne diese Vorbilder nicht denkbar.Da die meisten Menschen Muhe haben, sich Bauten aus Schnitten, Grund- und Aufrissen vorzustellen, erleichtern nach Planen angefertigte Ansichten die Beurteilung erheblich.
