Bob Grant does a masterful job of describing the bushplanes that opened up Canada's back country. Along with descriptions of such famous aircraft as the Noorduyn Norseman and the De Havilland Beaver, he brings to life the hardwork of bushflying in summer heat and winter cold. This is a must read for the aviation buff, but anyone interested in the opening up of Canada's north will enjoy the book.
