The key to this series is being familiar with the original versions, because that is the only way to realize how terrible and silly these covers are. Since the Beatles' catalog is the best-known modern songbook, it makes sense that anyone, especially celebrities with a vanity album, would cover their songs. Therefore, it's easy to appreciate the butcherings that William Shatner, Telly Savalas, Claudine Longet and Joe Pesci give these songs.
