Johnny Taylor's breakout record, "Who's Making Love," with its jerky rhythm and risque storyline established the former soul stirrer. The southern falsetto sound of "Tell It Like It Is," by a young Aaron Neville made many take notice of the New Orleans sound. A good album for newcomers to soul.
