Hollywood's shoddy packaging of George Jones are notorious but Golden Hits is one of the company's better efforts. The quality of the recordings is fairly good, though a close listen reveals a few instances of vinyl sources, and the re-recordings are not bad ("I'll Follow You On Up to Our Cloud" and "Walk Through This World With Me" seem to be the only originals).
