Global House Diva, conversely, gets released inside a new phase in her career, where the beats still sound like a shoe banging inside an empty, plutonium-powered dryer, yet still flexible enough to let her insert nods to old favorites and new parenthetical gasps for air. The Sex Fiend, Originator, New Vision, and even inept, early-'90s rave gems like "James Brown Is Dead" are compiled with a rare familiarity and fondness.
