Radio-dial darling Mindy McCready ("Ten Thousand Angels," "Over and Over") displays that she has a clear and competent voice but lacks subtlety, yet she readily offers more surprise than the others. Sara Evans is the songwriter of the bunch with "Three Chords and the Truth" (her debut single) and a cover of "Almost New."
