Giants In The Earth is about a group of tough and courageous Norwegian immigrants who create a settlement from nothing, except the soil and manpower. Each major character represents the various physical and psychological features of the Norwegian immigrant; fear, cleverness, stubbornness, strength, and much more. This is an engaging story that is very well written.

A New Frontier
This is a fascinating study of frontier life from
a psychological point of view.
The characterizations are rich and I found them
deeply affecting.
I look forward to finding the sequel.
