Addressed to Arnold F. Gates (1914-93, noted Lincoln/Civil War scholar). Very good. Faint original folds. On blue-printed letterhead of "Lincoln Fellowship of Pennsylvania" bearing typed corrections of name/addresses of the president and secretary, Tilberg presents--this letterhead! "Here is a current letter head. We will be printing new stationery soon. Headquarters are at Gettysburg and nearly always the president is from here...." Handsomely penned in black ballpoint. Tilberg (1896-1979) was a noted National Park Service historian.
