This translation of the Holy Bible into Chinese was originally published in 1987 in Nanjing, China by, which is the Chinese Christianity Association. It was originally published in one volume of 1432 pages. We have divided it into three volumes for ease of printing and carrying. The First Volume is the first 14 books of the Old Testament, from The Book of Genesis through the Second Book of Chronicles. The Second Volume is the remainder of the Old Testament from the Book of Ezra to The Book of Malachi. The Third Volume is the New Testament with the traditional 27 books plus 12 pages of Biblical maps at the end. Here are the ISBN Numbers of the three volumes: 4871872009 4871872106 4871872203 There are several different Bible translations in Chinese. There are also several different Chinese scripts. This Bible is definitely not the same version that is being distributed by the American Bible Society. This one was published in Mainland China and does not seem previously to be available outside of China. In order to follow these books, including the chapters and verses, you will need to know the numbers in Chinese. In this Bible, the page numbers are in the lower corners. The even page numbers in Chinese are in the lower right corners and the odd page numbers are in the lower left corners. The numbers you will need to know are: one two three four five six seven eight nine ten hundred thousand. The page numbers are written vertically in the corners. If you see the number but printed vertically, that becomes seven hundred six ten nine or 769. Now, if you want to find out what book that is in, you look at the Table of Contents at the beginning of this book and you will find that page 769 is from the 23rd book of the Old Testament of the Bible, which is which is the Book of Isaiah."
