Nach dem Tod ihres Vaters 1826 wurde der Familienbesitz von ihrem Bruder Werner ubernommen, so dass sie sowie ihre altere Schwester Jenny mit ihrer Mutter auf deren Witwensitz dem Haus Ruschhaus bei Nienberge ubersiedelten.
