One of the most interesting events of the New Year for gardeners, florists and farmers will be the annual institute meeting at Horticultural Hall January 1!), which is also the date of the regular monthly meeting of the Horticultural Society. It will be a combined institute meeting, society meeting and exhibition. The meetings will begin at 2 p. in. with an address of welcome by the chairman. Edwin Lonsdale. Ernst Hemming will be the first speaker at the afternoon session.
