Very Good in Very Good jacket. Size: 12mo-over 6.75"-7.75" tall; Solid hardcover in green paper covered boards with yellow titles showing fairly sharp tips and spine ends. Tidy ink name on fep, else no tears or soil in the 159 pp text, just some light foxing on the edges of the page block, endpprs and preliminaries. Three brown crayon marks on rear pastedown, card pocket pulled but all pages present. A few library stamps seen but do not obscure any reading. Both the spine of the book and the unclipped, original color illustrated dust jacket has the Folsham Western Story cowboy and logo at the foot for uniform display on the shelf. DJ shows a cowboy with his pistol ready to shoot at a cowboy galloping by on horseback. DJ has color loss at dj tips, but no tears or chips, bit of soil on white background rear panel. Spine edge had a sticker pull, now filled in with blue colored pencil and displays well. A waddy may feel, after several years of Indian fighting, that he is entitled to take things easy for a spell, but when the pretty daughter of a ranch owner presses the job of Trail boss on to him-well, maybe he takes a different view. At any rate, Buck Larson agreed to trail the Rocking W herd through to Abilene, though as he told his pard "The job ain't as simple as chasing Indians out of the mesquite." And Buck was right-there sure was plenty trouble waiting for him on that long trail.
