An analysis of other concepts found in various world religions, such as atonement, penance, and an exploration as to whether practices commonly found in religion, such as the fear of God, it is possible to overcome the temptation of evil, to live free from guilt, and for the soul to ascend into a higher spiritual state, or salvation.
