A very detailed book, interesting not only for its content on the heroism of the Black American Pilot fighters and their flight and ground teams and trainers, but also for the extraordinary lengths of steps forward and backward during the greater picture of Civil Rights and equality. This could equally apply in measure today to many groups estranged from one another the world over for many differing reasons. An excellent history lesson, and insight for everyone, and excellent example of why tolerance and forebearance should prevail, it can benefit everyone.
