I first heard from Franz Schmidt from an excerpt on You Tube. Understandably, what I heard then was an highlight. So, to enjoy the complete work, one has to take time maybe a lot of time to digest this grand work. And it takes more than the length of time to appreciate such a piece of music.
Once on the right path, knowing where it is leading you, the rest of the music will serve very well the highlight in question.
So take time, it's all yours.
