Unfortunately the tissue used to protect the twelve photogravures has darkened those plates and the pages opposite. The remaining black and white plates are not affected and are in very good condition. Green cloth with vellum spine printed in gilt, top edge gilt, 157 pages. Vellum spine has typical soil, covers have edgewear and rubbing, mainly at the corners, front hinge internally lightly cracked and secure, text block sound, pages clean, no names or other markings. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good. Folio-12"-15" Tall.
