The story of Rossamund captured me from the first page and kept me anticipating each new turn. I hated to leave him, but know he'll be okay during the time until I can read his next story (and the next.)
I plan to buy copies for several friends and family members as gifts.

Brilliant Steampunk Fantasy
A whole new world is waiting to be discovered in Foundling. The story follows the advantures of Rossamund , an orphan boy from the time he was apprenticed and his experiences and thoughts throughout.
Along the way, he meets such interesting characters as Europe , a 'monster slayer' who slays monsters with her electric staff and is also by the way , sort of augmented with devices that require daily maintenence and 'oiling' for lack of better word.
Monsters span the range of the whimsical to the truely evil , and I personally loved the rhyming bridge troll , you couldnt ask for a more good natured highwayman. This is fantasy revamped with a decidedly steampunk twist with a melding of the fantastiq with metal augmentations , electrical devices.
In case you dont know by now, I absolutely loved it, spent a day holed up in my room because I couldnt stand the suspence and felt the desire to finish it in one fell swoop.
Read it, one of the rare gems out there , absolutely astounding.
