Tanith Lee Forest of the Night
Not enough Tanith Lee is published or republished nowadays. These short stories, mainly from the eighties, are an excellent overview of the talent of this writer and her take of the forest of the mind and all the dark alleyways of or souls. The style is perfect as it is fluent and lyrical without being too ornated or stilted. Her characterisation is also spot on, no cardboard cut vampires or unicorns, there.
Highly recomanded if you can find it.
