As a Southern cook , from a large family of exceptional southern cooks, I found this cookbook to be a marvelous treat from my northern friends. These recipies are just right for the everyday cook as well as the cook who wants to "put on the dog" as we say down here in Georgia. I keep it right next to my Southern Sideboards from Jackson, Mississippi and Tea Time at the Masters. By the way , I was one of the main cook book committee members for the first Tea Time at the Masters in 1977 and we tested every single recipe in the book---some two and three times---yes I do know a good cookbook when I see one and this is a very good cookbook.
