L'Autobiographie constitue ainsi un precieux document non seulement sur l'auteur, mais aussi sur cette epoque, deja trouble, en Galilee. Notre edition presente, de maniere synthetique, les principaux elements biographiques issus du texte. Elle etudie en details la chronologie des oeuvres de Josephe et fait le point sur les differentes hypotheses emises a ce sujet.
