Back in 1998, Vagrant Records was just getting going and lacked a distinct sound. So to promote the young label, it gathered its bands -- punkers Face to Face, Gotohells, and Boxer -- debuted a band it would end up signing -- emo rockers No Motiv -- and grabbed some covers from blink-182 and MxPx to gain some notoriety.
