English summary: On the occasion of the 34th Conference of the Gesellschaft fur Rechtsvergleichung (Society of Comparative Law) held in Marburg in the fall of 2013, research groups in the areas of comparative trade and commercial law as well as European law examined the issue of the regulation of financial markets in times of crisis. Together with the lecture on the role of the ECJ by Thomas von Danwitz which is also included in this volume, the papers address different aspects of the regulatory response to the ongoing financial crisis since 2007 using a comparative legal approach. German description: Anlasslich der 34. Tagung der Gesellschaft fur Rechtsvergleichung in Marburg befassten sich die Fachgruppen fur vergleichendes Handels- und Wirtschaftsrecht sowie Europarecht im Herbst 2013 mit der Regulierung der Finanzmarkte in der Krise. Gemeinsam mit dem ebenfalls in diesem Band abgedruckten Festvortrag von Thomas von Danwitz zur Rolle des EuGH behandeln die Referate unterschiedliche Aspekte der regulatorischen Reaktion auf die seit 2007 andauernde Finanzkrise in einer rechtsvergleichenden Perspektive. Emilios Avgouleas prasentiert eine okonomische Analyse der staatlichen Regulierung im anglo-amerikanischen Raum.
