Some of the less well-known works, such as Howells' Here is the little door and Geraint Lewis' A little hymn to Mary, are (little) gems that deserve wider exposure. John Tavener's Fear and Rejoice, O People, on the other hand, ought to have a warning label attached; it easily qualifies for being on the short list of The Most Annoying Pieces Ever Written. It starts with a perfectly nice melody in the low basses, over a drone.
