About the Author: Smith began his career in 1938, at the age of 12, when his first photo appeared in Better Homes and Gardens magazine. He went on to establish a photo studio in New York City with editor Anne Whitney of Harpers Bazaar magazine in the 1950s, regularly rubbing elbows with film great Greta Garbo at a New York City eatery, and shouldering with photography giants Richard Avedon and Philippe Halsmann. 143 pages.
