This is an excellent movie which warms the heart, and aggravates the mind! So many diseases continue to get ignored, even though they can be at least treated by drugs, but there is not "big money" in them because they do not affect too many people; this one effects children who die before they reach their teens, usually, so why bother?Well, this mom & dad did, with their hearts, souls & money; finding a researcher who had been working on a drug for years, in theory; they raised the money to have it tested & marketed; finally, a treatment. You will cry, but it is worth it. Harrison Ford is his curmudgeonly best, trying not to care; Brendan Fraser & Keri Russell give just enough angst as the parents; Courtney Vance, in a small role, is perfect as another agnonized parent; the kids are GREAT!
