In many cases they had a great teacher, but it has been a while and they have forgotten a lot of what they learned. Looking up the concept on the internet, while initially a good idea and may answer the immediate question, does not help you remember the concept for next time. Going back to your college textbook may work, but those books are not written in plain English, and many times they confuse more than they help. Of course, asking a fellow student or coworker may do the trick, but you need more than just a quick answer-you need to review the basics.
