The fact that his dad was fighting illnesses that affected each one in the family different, Christopher always stood by his Dad. To honor thy father and thy mother, was always a serious feeling for him. He draws on his biblical feelings, and insight, and a caring need to be loved by others. His Dad was rough on him to say the least. Drill Sgt. would be more like it, yet in front of others it was always jokes and kindness to his friends and family. Christopher was Christ saved at 12, and he knew right then that things could get rough, when it came to the family. You'd never know that their were problems, with a very clean living room. Throughout the book you'll feel what he went through, what he experienced that he has never before revealed. The book has real miracles that happened to change Christopher after not making great decisions for a long time. He comes back to God after making many mistakes, and not treating people properly, and triumphs into the Christian faith all over again.
