There is no doubt about it, I love the Gone To The Dogs Mysteries series and I think that Every Dog Has His Day is probably my favorite of them so far. It really is kinda funny as I am a big dog person and I am not in any way a sports fan, but, I couldn't help but fall in love with Janice Thompson's characters both two-legged and four-legged.
Every Dog Has His (or in this case Her) Day is a perfectly charming cozy style mystery and I had the greatest time while sitting on my porch on a hot summer day reading it. There are some sad moments, some very funny ones included a scene involving bubbles, some sugary sweet ones, and the most adorable ending.
Janice Thompson has certainly done it again with this fifth Gone To The Dogs Mystery, it was entertaining and fun and exactly what I needed the day I read it. If you enjoy dogs and cozy mysteries I highly recommend this entire series. It's a definite must read in my book...pun intended...

I am in no way, shape, or form a fan of football, but this author comes through with a book about a loveable mini dachshund and all of the people who are looking for her.
The Gone To The Dogs Series encompasses many of the employees at the Lonestar Veterinary Clinic, who are all animal lovers and want to help.
A lost dog is found and fostered out to groomer Isabel Fuentes. She sets about trying to find the pup's owners, and the dog might just belong to Corey Wallis, a Texans quarterback. Then the caper begins.
