When I started to read this book, I thought I would only read a few pages. This was not so. I continued reading until I finished the book in 1 day. This is one of the best bio's I have read in a long time. For a lady who had nothing but hard work in her younger days, then to lose her husband with 5 children to raise and to suceed is amazing. To become known world wide in her older years due to the sucessof her singing daughter and son is great. I have great admiration for her. I recommend this book to everyone. My one wish is that I could meet her and her son.
