The evaluation of feedback and of stability margins in such circuits is very rarely documented and is almost unknown, despite the need for amplifiers to have adequate stability margins throughout their life. In many practical cases, the author's method provides the most realistic predictions of stability margins and feedback aspects of amplifiers and oscillators at the design stage, and their evaluation taken from measurements of the finished product. Graph and figures are provided to assist the reader in grasping what may be new or unfamiliar, and to illustrate the power and scope of this approach to the evaluation of feedback. Samples of computer print-outs are included to demonstrate driving-point, transfer and feedback functions versus frequency and their corresponding circuits.
